  Caves! I literally LoL. I used to scour thrift stores for old WT publications. I found separately over years all the volumes of Rutherford’s studies in the scriptures. Never read them, they just looked exceptionally cool in my “spiritual library” and made all my pioneer buddies so jealous! Lmao.

  Those, I donated to an apostate with more energy than I.

  The only exceptional power any of the New World Translations of the Bible ever had for me was relieving lower back pain as I sat in the shitty chairs of the Kingdom Hell.

  It’s a little thicker and shorter than the black or maroon version you may remember. The paper is a bit thicker and less transparent than the cigarette paper used before. The cover is light gray and is very soft and malleable instead of the rigid leather of before.

  As a disfellowshipped and identified “full blown apostate” I asked my still in JW mom to give me one and she did.

  I misplaced it the last time we moved. I suspect it is in a thrift store somewhere.

  Protests are the building blocks of what our nation is. The manner of protest is what is at issue.

  150 Liberals interrupting senate testimony is stupid. Packing a senators office is irritating. Those are not peaceful demonstrations and they are self harming to a political party.

  Chanting “lock her up” and encouraging violence against protestors and offering legal defense costs is also stupid.

  Both parties are asinine when acting like petulant children.

  Watchtower is also effective in compelling those that they help to send in their insurance checks. The work needed is done with volunteer labor and often donated materials. So even during a disaster relief effort, Watchtower makes money. True not everyone has the proper insurance, but still why not just do the favor and let people keep the insurance money?

  curious to know if this is the kathleen desoto that was on the defense (watchtower) side during last week's 35 million dollar judgment for the plaintiffs in the child molestation case.

  WATCHTOWER Is Trying To Put Cameras In All of Their Kingdom Halls

  one of my best friends is in the security business.

  he told me the other day of how the watch tower has been in contact with his good friend and business associate.

  evidently they are inquiring about putting cameras into every kh so that they can do 24 hour monitoring.

  I don’t think there is anything to see here. Well except on the cameras.

  Not a bad idea. Cameras deter vandalism. Even when the cameras are fake. The KHs I attended constantly got vandalized. During the meetings cars were keyed or car windows smashed. Specifically cars parked in the neighborhood because the lot was full.

  I cant imagine anybody wants to watch meetings that isn’t part of the congregation. I don’t think it’s like some big brother episode. Probably more like grandma can call in on the phone and watch billy give a talk. They are trying to get more high tech. Makes sense to me. From a security and meeting attendance increase standpoint. Nothing nefarious.
